my summer intarsia project- another dragon
 15" x 13" wide (38 x 34 cm) made from walnut, cedar and the milky quartz crystals are maple. approximately 27 hours not counting design time (and extended due to my band saw breaking). inspiration- Fantasia's (Disney) Night on Bald Mountain (Mussorgsky) and Roger Dean's (all those Yes album covers) floating islands combined with my fascination with crystals |
